Experts gather for International fake fighting conference
Leading experts in the world of intellectual Protection (IP) are preparing for a meeting of minds at the Anti-Counterfeiting Group (ACG) Conference 2016.
On Wednesday 12 October there is to be a drinks reception and dinner at the Cumberland Hotel in London, followed by the conference the following day.
The one day event will be exploring new and creative approaches to fighting physical and online IP crime as well sharing best practice.
Keynote speaker Dame Neville Rolfe, Minister of State for Energy and Intellectual Property will be joined by an impressive array of IP experts.
Ros Lynch from the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) will be followed by
Frederick Mostert, Research Fellow at Oxford University and leading IP barrister Michael Edenborough QC.
Other keynote speakers on the agenda are Piotr Stryszowski form the international think tank the Organisation for Economic Co-operation & Development (OECD), DCI Peter Ratcliffe, Police Intellectual Property Crime Unit (PIPCU), Carlo van Heuckelom, Europol IP Centre, Michael Lund, Nordic Content Protection and Wendy Martin of the National Trading Standards and Director of Policy, ACTSO.
