Survey – Tackling Cyber-Crime: The Role of Private Security
One of the most respected criminal behaviour research bodies in the UK is carrying out a study into the role of private and corporate security in addressing the threat of cyber-crime.
Perpetuity Research is looking into the threat of cyber-crime in an area of risk which has as yet received little coverage despite its growing threat and the significant consequences for businesses.
The study is set against the backdrop of an abundance of expert opinion but the growing absence of police resources.
Perpetuity Research is conducting a survey as part of the Security Research Initiative to understand: How is cyber/information security viewed within businesses and looking at what approach is (and should be) taken to managing those threats?
Managing director of Perpetuity Martin Gill said: “Although there are a lot of stories out there about the growing threat of cyber-crime, very little is known or written about this hidden threat. So, if you are a physical security professional and/or a cyber/information security professional and would like to have your say, visit:

The survey is anonymous, and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete The findings will be made available to participants.
The deadline for responses is the 2nd February 2016.
